Stress is a normal human reaction that we all experience. Humans have an inbuilt stress response system that helps us respond to in times of danger or perceived threat. Stress becomes a problem when we feel overwhelmed over a long period of time and our ability to relax is affected.


Developing strategies to manage stress is a fundamental life skill and will help adolescents as they navigate life’s challenges such as personal relationships, school work and encountering new experiences. 

Our stress and anxiety workshop will provide fundamental knowledge about the biology of stress (fight, flight and freeze), personal reflections on individual stress triggers and explore and experience new ways to overcome these stressors.
